About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring a Data Analyst to analyze healthcare data (claims, EHRs, and other clinical/operational sources) to surface insights that improve care and reduce costs. You will work with clinical, operational, and IT teams to build reports, dashboards, and predictive models that inform strategy and operations across the organization. This is a full-time, individual-contributor role suited to someone with strong analytical skills, healthcare data experience, and the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Collect, clean, and validate healthcare datasets (claims, EHR extracts, provider, and administrative data)
• Write efficient SQL queries and use R/Python/SAS for exploratory analysis and modeling
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to cross-functional teams
• Perform data quality checks and document data lineage, assumptions, and methodologies
• Support development and validation of predictive models to improve outcomes and operational efficiency
• Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate business questions into analytic solutions
• Produce clear, concise reports and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
• Contribute to process improvement and best practices for healthcare analytics and governance

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s preferred
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare data analysis (health plans, providers, or healthcare services preferred)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with analytic tools such as Python, R, or SAS
• Familiarity with healthcare data sources and standards (claims data, EHRs, HL7/C-CDA concepts, etc.)
• Experience building dashboards and reports (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
• Understanding of predictive modeling workflows and basic machine learning techniques
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and data validation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex analyses to stakeholders
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance best practices
