What You’ll Do

Build, maintain, and automate reliable data pipelines and reports that enable business decisions and support client objectives.

• Develop and maintain Python scripts and SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data for analysis and reporting.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot ETL workflows that integrate data from multiple sources and apply business rules.
• Clean, validate, reconcile, and document datasets to ensure data accuracy and quality controls.
• Interpret complex data, perform analyses, and surface trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Work with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to create clear dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external clients to understand requirements, prioritize work, and deliver results on schedule.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to increase coding productivity, troubleshoot issues, and document processes—while following data security and governance rules.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following minimum requirements and show evidence of relevant hands-on skills.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, data processing, or ETL development.
• Strong Python skills for data cleaning, transformation, and automation (experience with pandas preferred).
• Advanced SQL ability: complex joins, filters, aggregations, and working across multiple tables.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting ETL pipelines and working with relational databases and structured data files.
• Familiarity with data validation, reconciliation, and quality-control techniques.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred; Alteryx is a plus.
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, good written documentation skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
