What You’ll Do

You will work as a Data Analyst on cross-functional teams to turn raw data into actionable insights. This is an early-career, hands-on role focused on data preparation, reporting and visualization to support business decisions.

• Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources
• Write and maintain SQL queries to retrieve, join, filter, and aggregate datasets
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau
• Use Microsoft Excel for analysis (PivotTables, formulas, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) and ad-hoc reporting
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities; summarize findings with clear recommendations
• Perform data quality checks and document data sources and transformation logic
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks using SQL, Power Query, or simple Python scripts where appropriate
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements
• Produce regular and ad-hoc analyses to support operations and management decisions

Required Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, PivotTables, lookups)
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
• Fundamental understanding of statistics and data interpretation
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for sharing insights with non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Python skills (Pandas, NumPy) or familiarity with R
• Experience with Power Query and DAX (Power BI)
• Awareness of ETL processes, data warehousing, and basic data modeling concepts
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) is a plus
• Academic projects, internships, or practical experience demonstrating applied data analysis

Work Location

This role is based in Texas (TX) and may be assigned to locations across the state. Specific city assignment will be provided by the hiring manager.
