What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst to support engineering and product teams by delivering actionable insights, enabling value-stream visibility, and supporting data-first engineering practices.

• Assist in coding and refinement of basic code structures to meet technical specifications and internal guidelines
• Execute test cases and assist with test plan implementation to validate functional requirements
• Participate in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of production issues to improve system reliability
• Contribute to data collection, cleaning, and basic analysis to support dashboards and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA) across the SDLC
• Support adoption of data-driven improvements using AI/ML and predictive analytics under guidance
• Learn and apply best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment

Qualifications

Required (minimum):

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) OR equivalent experience as described below
• 3 years of relevant experience (the client will consider three years of progressive related experience in lieu of each year of education)
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL
• Familiarity with core programming concepts (Java, C/C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar)
• Basic exposure to HTML/CSS and data visualization concepts
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies, collaborate, and follow engineering best practices
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tooling or basic predictive modeling
• Prior work supporting product engineering or value-stream management initiatives
• Experience executing test cases and participating in debugging/production support
