What You’ll Do

You will join a Data Solutions team supporting investment data, portfolio reporting, reconciliations, and financial systems. Working with the Confidential Client, you will help ensure accurate portfolio reporting across traditional and alternative assets.

• Analyze portfolio and investment data across traditional and alternative assets (private equity, hedge funds, etc.)
• Perform account-level reconciliations; research and resolve data breaks and discrepancies
• Review private equity and hedge fund statements for accurate data capture and reporting
• Build and maintain customized portfolio and financial reports
• Troubleshoot and manage financial data feeds and integrations
• Support new client, account, asset, and investment setup within the platform
• Explain portfolio performance results and produce supporting analytics
• Collaborate with clients, custodians, and external partners to resolve data issues
• Contribute to improvements in data controls, processes, and reporting procedures

What We’re Looking For

The Confidential Client is seeking a hands-on analyst who understands investment data flows and can work with complex datasets and financial systems.

• 2–5+ years experience in investment data, portfolio reporting, investment operations, wealth management, or financial technology
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong understanding of financial instruments and investment data (traditional and alternative)
• Demonstrated Excel, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with technology, financial systems, and large/complex datasets
• Experience with portfolio platforms (Addepar, Black Diamond, Orion, APX/Axys, Archway, Solovis, Matstro, etc.) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and external partners

Preferred

• Experience supporting RIAs, family offices, wealth managers, or custodians
• Prior exposure to feed management, ETL, or reporting automation

• Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area)
• Work model: Hybrid (on-site and remote collaboration as defined by the Confidential Client)
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (listed to comply with pay transparency laws)
• Benefits vary by client and may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development
• Exact benefits and final compensation will be provided by the Confidential Client during the hiring process
