What You’ll Do

The Data Analyst will design, deliver and maintain reporting and analytics to support business stakeholders. You will partner with product teams, information services and business users to collect requirements, develop datasets and reports, and improve processes through data-driven recommendations.

• Administer systems, processes and datasets: create, update and remove master data; manage users and roles in BI tools.
• Design and maintain the reporting environment, including data sources, metadata, security and report lifecycle.
• Provide Level 1 support for report- and data-related helpdesk tickets; troubleshoot and escalate issues with Information Services.
• Develop and implement datasets, ETL/data collection processes, reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
• Clean and validate data by reviewing reports and performance indicators; correct data quality issues.
• Create documentation and training materials for BI tools, reports, dashboards, business processes and code.
• Identify opportunities for automation and self-service reporting to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Support the data warehouse team by clarifying and refining reporting requirements.
• Promote data integrity and normalization; work with data governance to enforce standards for KPIs, field calculations, and storage.
• Ensure data security and appropriate permissions when sharing datasets and reports.
• Produce ad-hoc analyses and reports as requested by stakeholders.
• Participate actively as a team member: attend meetings, share best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as needed to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong preference for hands-on experience with BI tools and reporting processes.
• Associate degree in Computer Science, a Business Intelligence certificate, or equivalent (2 years) experience developing reports and datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail in data validation and documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or processing environment when required.

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
• Previous experience in a food processing or food & beverage environment is a plus.
• Military experience is valued and encouraged.

Work Environment, Travel & Physical Requirements

• Travel: up to 25% (as business needs require).
• Physical activities: regular computer work, visual verification of information, and occasional presentations to groups. May be exposed to varied temperatures and will need to move about in a manufacturing environment and surrounding property.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): required as directed by facility protocols.
