What You’ll Do

This is a remote Data Analyst opportunity supporting a confidential client in the Technology (Software) sector. As a third-party recruiting partner, Careertakes is seeking candidates who can help turn data into actionable insights and support business decisions.

• Collect, clean, and validate datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and KPIs
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
• Write clear queries and transform data using SQL (or other tools) to support stakeholder requests
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into analytic deliverables
• Document analyses and maintain reproducible workflows to support ongoing use and scaling

What We’re Looking For

We seek candidates who combine analytical rigor with strong communication and a service mindset. Typical qualifications include:

• Entry-level to early-career Data Analyst experience (projects, internships, or professional)
• Comfortable with SQL and working with relational data
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data cleaning and transformation techniques
• Ability to create clear visualizations and reports for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Exposure to ETL processes and basic data engineering concepts
• Experience working remotely and collaborating across distributed teams

Location & Schedule

This role is remote (Work From Home) within the United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to collaborate across U.S. time zones as needed.
