What You’ll Do

This Confidential Client is seeking a remote Data Analyst to turn data into clear, actionable insights that support business decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams, build and maintain reports, and help improve data processes.

• Collect, clean, and validate datasets from multiple sources to ensure high data quality
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate trends and KPIs
• Write and optimize queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis
• Perform exploratory and ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions
• Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to scope analytics needs
• Document data definitions, ETL steps, and analysis methodologies

Qualifications

We follow third-party recruiting best practices and list core qualifications below. Candidates who meet most of these will be considered.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a data analysis role (or equivalent)
• Strong proficiency with SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Experience building dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) for analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication — able to present findings to business partners

Nice to Have / Preferred

• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., star schemas, ETL pipelines)
• Exposure to product analytics or A/B testing methodologies
• Prior experience in a remote or distributed team environment

Location & Work Arrangement
