What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst to support Quality Engineering Analytics. You'll analyze quality and defect datasets, build repeatable scorecards and executive dashboards, and deliver insights that inform site- and enterprise-level decisions.

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather data from internal systems and source-of-truth reports
  • Validate, cleanse, and structure large datasets for multi-dimensional analysis (time period, program/area, severity, employee attributes)
  • Perform monthly and year-over-year comparisons to surface trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
  • Build analytical models, recurring reports, and scorecards aligned to enterprise/site frameworks
  • Create executive-level dashboards and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or PowerPoint
  • Produce leadership-ready summaries (trend charts, heatmaps, distribution analyses) and present findings to stakeholders
  • Incorporate feedback and refine dashboards, expanding analytics scope to include new metrics or predictive signals

  • Employment type: CONTRACTOR
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience: Typically 3–7 years in data analysis, reporting, or analytics

Who You Are — Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years analyzing operational or quality data and producing recurring reports and dashboards
  • Advanced Excel and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Comfortable working hands-on with large datasets: cleansing, shaping, and validating
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to data accuracy, and ability to translate results into action

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or quality engineering analytics
  • Familiarity with scorecard / KPI framework development
  • Experience using Python or R for analysis or automation
  • Comfortable combining structured and unstructured data sources
