What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s Private Capital Advisory (PCA) team is seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to build data-driven workflows, automate reporting, and support analytics for deal teams and client materials. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and senior bankers to improve data quality, streamline processes, and deliver timely insights that support secondaries and private markets activity.

  • Partner with data engineers, analysts, and senior bankers to identify process automation and system integration opportunities
  • Design and implement automated ETL/reporting pipelines and dashboards to improve timeliness and accuracy
  • Build data validation and governance frameworks, including automated quality checks and exception reporting
  • Document requirements, map data flows, and support change management for new analytics tools and dashboards
  • Integrate analytics into deal execution and client deliverables in collaboration with PCA’s data team
  • Research and pilot emerging techniques and tools (including AI-assisted workflows) relevant to secondaries analytics

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or banking (preferably with exposure to private markets)
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Quantitative Finance, Economics, or similar)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel (or equivalent)
  • Experience using DealCloud, Salesforce, or comparable deal-management / CRM systems
  • Strong verbal communication skills; able to explain technical work to non-technical stakeholders, including senior bankers
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple high-impact projects with guidance
  • Familiarity with private markets and secondaries analytics is a plus
  • Intellectual curiosity about AI’s role in financial services and willingness to experiment with new tools

Compensation & Benefits

  • Expected Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 (base)
  • Eligible for discretionary bonus (cash and/or deferred equity) where applicable
