What You’ll Do

Join Confidential Client’s Home Appliance Product Support team as an entry-level Data Analyst supporting product quality, reporting, and troubleshooting for refrigerators, washers, dryers, and related appliance products. This role combines hands-on product evaluation with data-driven reporting to support quality and service decisions.

  • Analyze service, warranty, repair, quality, and parts-usage data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with product quality tracking, issue management, and root-cause investigations.
  • Support troubleshooting activities and work with technicians and engineers to resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Test and evaluate home appliance units; perform basic assembly/disassembly and hands-on inspections when needed.
  • Monitor and organize operational data to support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in training to develop technical knowledge of appliance products.
  • Support various Product Support projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Required (must-haves)

  • Bachelor’s degree completed within the last 0–3 years in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
  • Ability to learn technical concepts and new tools quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to perform hands-on testing and occasional basic mechanical work.

Employment type: CONTRACTOR (on-site in Plano, TX).


Nice to Haves

  • Experience analyzing data through coursework, internships, research projects, or prior work.
  • Interest in consumer electronics or home appliances.
  • Familiarity with reporting, statistics, or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  • Hands-on technical aptitude and mechanical curiosity.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $15–$17 / hour (exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education).
  • Benefits become available starting on day 31 of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA/FSA/DCFSAs options, and 401(k) access with employer matching where applicable. Paid sick leave and other paid time off are provided in accordance with applicable law.

  • Location: Plano, TX — on-site position supporting physical product testing and coordination with technical teams.
  • Entry-level / early-career role with cross-training across multiple functions and opportunities to develop specialized expertise.
