What You’ll Do

As a part-time Data Analyst supporting a confidential client in the education technology and services space, you will transform educational data into clear, actionable insights that drive decisions across programs and operations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to build reporting, monitor data quality, and surface trends that improve student outcomes.

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform strategy
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visual reports for stakeholders
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems
• Collaborate with product, operations, and education teams to translate data into recommendations
• Present findings clearly to non-technical audiences and support data-driven decision-making

Key Responsibilities

• Drive data-driven decision-making by producing reliable analyses and reports
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards and recurring reports
• Validate and clean data from multiple sources to ensure reliable insights
• Work proactively with partners to identify measurement needs and reporting improvements
• Support ad-hoc analyses and synthesize results into actionable next steps

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in data analysis and data visualization tools
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Bachelor’s degree (per job requirements) or equivalent relevant experience
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders

• Experience analyzing educational data or working with K–12 outcomes
• Familiarity with building dashboards for operational and executive audiences

Compensation & Schedule

• Part-time: approximately 20 hours per week (long-term)
• Compensation: $30.00 USD per hour (equates to approximately $30,000 USD/year assuming 20 hours/week and 50 weeks/year)
• Payment: weekly
• This position may be engaged through an independent Contractor of Record arrangement. Specific contracting or payroll provider details will be shared by the confidential client during hiring — you will be employed/contracted by the confidential client or their designated partner if selected.
