What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst / Outcomes Specialist to measure and report on program impact across home health, hospice, community services, and grants. You will turn operational and clinical data into clear, actionable insights that improve care quality and support funder reporting.
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking patient outcomes, program participation, and quality metrics (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar)
- Query and transform clinical and operational datasets using SQL and Excel/Google Sheets
- Analyze HHCAHPS, Star Ratings, and OASIS data to identify quality-improvement opportunities
- Produce monthly and ad-hoc impact reports for leadership, the board, and funders
- Support grant reporting with outcome measurement, statistical summaries, and visualizations
- Collaborate with clinical and program leaders to define metrics, standardize definitions, and improve data collection
- Ensure data integrity, documentation, and HIPAA-compliant handling of protected health information
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, public health, health informatics, or a related field
- 2+ years of data analysis experience; healthcare or nonprofit experience is a strong plus
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar tools
- Familiarity with healthcare datasets, outcome measurement, and HIPAA compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate, timely reports
