What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst based in Orlando, FL to turn complex data into actionable insights that support decisions across product, operations, and mission teams.

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources (relational and NoSQL databases, logs, APIs).
• Build and maintain SQL queries, ETL processes, and data pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate trends, KPIs, and data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate business questions into data solutions.
• Support data deployments and automation using modern tooling (CI/CD, containerization where applicable).
• Document data models, schemas, dashboards, and analytical methods to support reproducibility and handoff.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, candidates should have:

• Proven hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) and strong data modeling fundamentals.
• Experience with at least one scripting or analysis language (Python, R, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Amazon Web Services) and basic knowledge of containerization (Docker) or deployment pipelines.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or comparable tools).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.; some roles may require the ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with additional data stores (DynamoDB, SQL Server) or big-data tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for analytics code and containerized deployments.
• Background in AI/ML analytics, applied data science, or building decision-support tools.
• Experience integrating analytics into production services or mission-critical systems.
• Prior exposure to front-end frameworks or web-based visualization libraries (React, D3, etc.) is a plus.
• Security+ or DoD IAT Level II certification, or the ability to obtain one within six months, is desirable for some positions.
