Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst (W2 — no C2C/1099) to support reporting, data management, platform transition and operational efficiency initiatives across philanthropy-related systems (employee volunteering, corporate giving, employee donations). The contractor will collaborate with business stakeholders, regional teams, platform owners, and analytics teams to improve reporting reliability, data quality, and automation.
What You’ll Do
- Support United Way campaign operational tasks: data organization, validation, processing, vendor collaboration, and reporting for funds disbursement and matching programs
- Assist with transition and migration of employee donations into a third-party application, including historical data validation and reconciliation
- Reduce manual Excel processes by improving automation and data workflows
- Manage and maintain Power BI reports, including development, updates, enhancements, and ad-hoc stakeholder requests
- Support master data improvements and collaborate with IT and regional teams to integrate improvements into existing data models
- Assist with data governance and access management for reporting models and data lake assets
- Communicate status, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Strong Power BI experience, including data modeling and report development
- Working knowledge of SQL and data integration / ETL concepts
- Experience supporting data quality, governance, or master data initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple requests in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with philanthropy, giving, pledging, or grants-related platforms
- Familiarity with HR data, enterprise data lakes, or cloud-based data environments
- Experience working with cross-functional or global teams

Logistics & Contract Details
- Location: Columbus, IN (hybrid). Candidate must be local / based in Columbus area. Relocation will not be considered.
- Duration: 12+ months (high chance of extension)
- Employment type: Contractor (W2) — NO C2C / NO 1099
- Pay rate: $37.00 per hour (W2)
- Schedule: Hybrid. Final onsite/remote cadence to be discussed with the hiring manager.
