What You’ll Do
This Full‑Time Data Analyst role supports client measurement and performance analytics across digital channels. You will help turn data into actionable insights, automate reporting, and support campaign planning and evaluation.
- Handle routine reporting and presentations (primarily bi‑weekly and quarterly reports)
- Respond to ad‑hoc analytics requests in a timely manner
- Support website analytics initiatives, including Google Tag Manager implementation and custom reporting using Google Analytics and BigQuery
- Build custom analytics dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Help automate reporting and data workflows
- Assist with campaign planning and performance analysis
- Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
You’ll be successful in this role if you have the following minimum skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree (Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Analytics or similar) or equivalent experience; 0–3 years professional experience
- Basic knowledge of Python and common data/plotting libraries; interest in developing programming skills
- Basic SQL: joins, GROUP BY, CASE statements
- Understanding of statistical concepts (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, chi‑squared, etc.)
- Experience with Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics
- Familiarity with data visualization fundamentals and at least one tool or library (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio/Data Studio, Plotly, Seaborn, ggplot, etc.)
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently once onboarded and thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
Preferred (Nice to Have)
These are not required, but will help you stand out:
- Interest or background in machine learning / predictive modeling
- Experience with Firebase
- Experience with scientific polling data (large .sav files, SPSS, pyreadstat)
- Automated data collection experience (web scraping, APIs)
- VBA macro experience
- Comfortable collaborating remotely and across distributed teams
Location, Schedule & Compensation
- Location: New York, NY (onsite expectation: Confidential Client's policy requires a minimum of three days per week in the office; this may change per manager/agency direction)
- Employment Type: Full‑time
- Salary range: $45,000 — $160,000 per year. Final pay within this range will depend on factors such as candidate experience, skills, and market considerations.
