Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to provide onsite support for federal legal work related to asset forfeiture and law enforcement. This role focuses on gathering, reconciling, organizing, and maintaining case-related information from multiple sources to support accurate case files, reports, and deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, gather, analyze, and organize information from multiple sources.
  • Review received information for completeness and reconcile inconsistencies.
  • Accurately enter required data into databases, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Establish and maintain physical case files.
  • Track case file status to ensure compliance with established deadlines.
  • Coordinate requests for additional information as needed.
  • Select relevant information from various sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and responses to inquiries.
  • Ensure information in documents and reports is accurate and properly formatted.
  • Perform case-related word processing and document preparation.
  • Provide accurate and timely status updates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Meticulous data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to review, interpret, and evaluate complex legal and non-legal documents.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to successfully complete a 7- or 10-year minimum background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Intermediate skills with databases and other common software applications.
  • One year of experience in asset forfeiture or a related law enforcement field (including legal or military experience) is a plus.
  • Interest in or familiarity with legal processes and case management.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $28 per hour
