What You’ll Do
As a Data Analyst (Confidential Client) you will turn complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that help leaders improve provider productivity, operational efficiency, workforce outcomes, and financial performance.
- Analyze data from the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and other business systems to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that empower business leaders to make data-driven decisions.
- Define, evaluate, and monitor KPIs related to practice and provider performance, workforce retention, operations, and finance.
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, HR, and Clinical Support to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Validate data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness across multiple systems.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and recurring reports to support strategic initiatives and operational needs.
- Recommend process and data-quality improvements to streamline reporting and reduce friction for report consumers.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical audiences in a concise, actionable format.
- Document report logic, data definitions, and analytical processes to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
- Collaborate with technical teams to strengthen data infrastructure and reporting performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise data warehouses and working with large, complex datasets.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas).
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and clear visualizations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to leaders across functions.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, collaborative environment in Nashville, TN.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience analyzing operational, financial, workforce, or healthcare-related data.
- Prior exposure to dental, healthcare, or multisite business operations.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL concepts, and data validation best practices.
- Experience with programming or scripting for analysis (Python, R) is a plus.
