Overview

Confidential Client is expanding its enterprise data and analytics capability to support financial reporting, human resources, compliance, risk, and broader business operations. This is a hands-on Data Analyst role where you'll build reports, dashboards, and data transformations that drive decisions across the business. The role emphasizes strong SQL skills, experience with dbt and Databricks, and the ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and analytical products for business and functional stakeholders.
  • Write, optimize, and validate SQL powering analytics and enterprise reporting.
  • Translate business requirements into clear data requirements and technical specifications.
  • Build reliable data transformations and reporting workflows using dbt, Databricks, and related tools.
  • Establish and maintain data validation processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, integrity, and timeliness.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and deliver concise, actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain documentation for data sources, business logic, transformations, lineage, and reporting processes.
  • Partner closely with finance, human resources, compliance, risk, and enterprise reporting teams.
  • Contribute to reporting processes, governance standards, and data quality improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with Tableau or a comparable data visualization platform.
  • Practical experience with Databricks and dbt.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data quality practices, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical details to business audiences.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, trustable data products.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, information systems, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Experience in financial services, consulting, or enterprise reporting environments.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting or human resources analytics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience developing end-to-end analytics solutions for business stakeholders.

Location & Work Arrangement

Candidates must be based in Miami, FL. This is a hybrid role requiring regular onsite attendance four days per week.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 per year.
  • Additional compensation: annual performance bonus and potential sign‑on bonus.
  • Relocation support may be available for candidates moving to Miami. (Actual pay will be based on skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more.)
