Data Analyst
The Data Analyst role focuses on supporting data mapping, governance, controls, and quality initiatives using modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks. What You’ll Do
- Perform data mapping, querying, and analysis across cloud data platforms (Snowflake or Databricks).
- Support data controls, data governance, and data quality initiatives.
- Work with large datasets using Python and SQL to produce reliable analysis and reports.
- Leverage Snowflake or Databricks for data analysis, modeling, and management.
- Use AWS products to support cloud-based data environments and analytics workflows.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams building production data pipelines to ensure accuracy and observability.
- Operate within Agile development processes, attending stand-ups and participating in sprint planning.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Python and SQL.
- 2+ years of experience working with Snowflake or Databricks.
- 3+ years of experience querying, analyzing, and working with enterprise data platforms.
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, data controls, and data mapping best practices.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Compensation & Employment Type
- Pay range: $61 – $65 per hour (USD).
- Employment type: Contractor (hourly).
This pay range is provided in good faith and is based on market data and the responsibilities of the role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Location & Work Model
- Primary location: McLean, VA.
- Work model: Hybrid. Candidates should be able to work on‑site in McLean, VA as required.
