Data Analyst
The Data Analyst at Confidential Client supports the implementation and delivery of the AssetPlanner® software suite by performing data entry, analysis, software configuration, and client support. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure high-quality data management, provide training, conduct quality assurance, and assist in software testing and enhancements to optimize asset management solutions.

What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst to support implementation and delivery of the AssetPlanner® software suite. This role focuses on high-quality data entry, analysis, software configuration, client support, and training to help clients manage capital assets and building systems.
- Enter and analyze data related to building structures and systems using established standards.
- Respond to client requests for data updates, support, and configuration changes.
- Provide client support via support lines and service request systems; perform annual client check-ins.
- Conduct phone interviews with clients to gather information about capital assets and input data into AssetPlanner®.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of building condition assessment data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Review and input existing client data and documentation; assist with data cleanup as needed.
- Help develop client-facing reports and presentations.
- Support software implementation activities including database configuration, client onboarding, and training sessions.
- Participate in software testing, log bugs, and suggest enhancements.
- Provide support for Energy and Maintenance modules as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree (bachelor’s degree preferred).
Preferred / Additional Qualifications
- Engineering degree or certification is a plus.
- Prior experience working with data in an analyst role.
- Background in facilities management, building science, or engineering is an asset.
- Experience in client- or customer-facing support roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with asset management or facilities software is a plus (AssetPlanner® experience welcomed).
- Strong ability to learn and adapt to new software applications quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, courteous, and client-focused demeanor.
Location & Compensation
- Location: Massachusetts (MA), United States. This role is based in Massachusetts; some remote/telework arrangements may be possible depending on business needs.
- Anticipated base salary range: $77,000 – $111,500 (presented in good faith). Actual pay will depend on experience, skills, education, and location. The position is eligible for the client’s benefits package and may include performance incentives, bonuses, or other compensation components where applicable.
