What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for a junior / entry-level Data Analyst to join their IT hiring pool. This remote role supports IT teams by helping collect, prepare, and surface actionable insights that inform business and technical decisions. This is an early-career role suited to recent graduates, career changers, or professionals returning to the workforce.

• Support data collection and basic data cleaning to prepare datasets for analysis
• Produce routine reports and dashboards that summarize key metrics
• Assist cross-functional teams (product, engineering, business) with ad-hoc data requests
• Validate and document data sources and assumptions
• Learn on the job and grow toward independent analysis and ownership of projects
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal form

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including recent graduates and candidates with non‑linear career paths.

• Recent grads in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields — OR equivalent coursework/projects
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow technical abilities
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones (Seattle-area hours preferred)
• Authorized to work in the United States

• Estimated annual salary (job board estimate): $142,217 per year — listed as an estimate and may vary by role, level, and location.
• Typical hiring steps: resume screen, recruiter interview, hiring manager interview, possible take-home assignment or technical exercise. Careertakes may share candidate profiles with the client and related hiring teams for matching purposes.
