Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to support the Innovation Center and Performance Excellence initiatives. This matrixed role partners with operations and shared services to deliver business intelligence, reporting, and performance tracking that drive innovation and measurable operational improvements in a hospital and health care setting.


What You’ll Do

  • Support innovation projects by acquiring, cleaning, and analyzing data to identify improvement and innovation opportunities.
  • Build analytical insights and contribute to organizational innovation and performance excellence plans.
  • Participate in project teams to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure return on investment for initiatives.
  • Design reporting specifications and develop reports using operational, financial, and IT data sources.
  • Perform testing, data validation, and end-user acceptance to ensure reporting accuracy and fitness for business needs.
  • Use modern tools and technologies to build dashboards and analytic tools that communicate insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required—preferably in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or analytics preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with statistical analysis tools is a plus.
  • Experience with Power BI and/or Qlik is preferred.
  • EPIC certification is highly desirable but not required.

Schedule & Location

  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Dayshift, Monday–Friday (typical hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
  • Location: City of Rochester, NY (on-site)

Compensation

  • Base pay range: $67,000.00 – $80,000.00 (annual). This is a good-faith representation of base pay for this position; actual pay will be determined based on experience and other factors.

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary role: primarily office-based with prolonged sitting and minimal physical effort; occasional light lifting under 10 lbs.
  • Requires fine motor skills for computer work, clear visual and auditory ability, and capacity for extended concentration and decision-making.
  • Reasonable accommodations will be considered for reported physical requirements.
