Role Summary & Contract Details
This is a contract opportunity supporting document processing, scanning, indexing, routing and quality control within a land services environment. You will support enterprise content management (ECM) activities and high-volume digital document workflows to ensure accurate records processing and strong document integrity.
- Duration: 12-month assignment
- Schedule: 5/40 — Onsite in Spring, TX

What You’ll Do
- Process incoming physical documents and prepare them for scanning and digitization.
- Scan documents and route electronic files into the enterprise content management system.
- Index scanned documents accurately using established naming and metadata conventions.
- Perform quality assurance checks on digital scans to ensure legibility and correct indexing.
- Route, track and archive physical and electronic records according to process standards.
- Search internal and external databases to locate legacy records and verify upload status.
- Escalate and help resolve moderate-scope data or indexing issues; suggest process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive records and keep stakeholders informed of status or exceptions.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous clerical or general office support experience.
- Experience preparing, processing, digitizing, routing, tracking or archiving physical and digital documents.
- Proven attention to detail and experience with precise administrative tasks in a structured business environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Clear and professional communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and remain organized in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to search regulatory and public record databases; familiarity with DrillingInfo and county record sites is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oil & gas land experience.
- Up to five years of administrative support experience in oil & gas land or related fields.
Skills & Tools
- Enterprise content management (ECM) familiarity and document management workflows.
- Scanning hardware and image cleanup best practices.
- Strong indexing and metadata tagging capability.
- Basic data validation and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to learn internal systems and follow documented procedures.
- Reliable attendance for an onsite schedule in Spring, TX.
Location & Logistics
- This role is fully onsite in Spring, TX. Candidates must be able to commute to and work at the assigned location during the scheduled hours.
