What You’ll Do
As a Data Analyst II supporting a Confidential Client in the Staffing & Recruiting industry, you will turn data into insights that guide hiring strategy and product decisions. Typical responsibilities include:
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and operational metrics
- Perform exploratory and explanatory analyses to answer business questions and inform stakeholders
- Write SQL queries and perform ad-hoc analyses to support product, operations, and sales teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, engineering, recruiting, operations) to define requirements and deliver analytic solutions
- Communicate findings clearly with visualizations and written summaries for technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection, quality, and analysis processes
Who We’re Looking For
You’re an analytical thinker who pairs strong technical skills with business curiosity and clear communication. You take ownership of analytic projects and prioritize delivering action-oriented insights.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional data analysis experience (or equivalent)
- Proficiency writing SQL for data extraction and transformation
- Experience producing dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar)
- Strong Excel skills for analysis and modeling
- Proven ability to translate business questions into analytic approaches and deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Familiarity with product, recruiting, or HR analytics
- Prior work in staffing, recruiting, HR tech, or related SaaS environments
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices
- Experience building repeatable reporting and monitoring processes
Work Arrangement & Location
This role is hired for the Boardman, OR area (onsite, hybrid, or remote arrangements may vary per client). Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
