What You’ll Do

This entry-level Data Analyst will join a supply-chain-focused analytics team supporting the confidential client’s operations. You will convert data into actionable insights, help automate processes, and support decision-making across supply chain functions.

  • Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
  • Work with large datasets to derive meaningful, context-driven insights
  • Build reports and visualizations that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Document and maintain an inventory of data sources, dashboards, metrics, and measurements
  • Automate repetitive data tasks and workflows to streamline operational processes
  • Present insights to influence data-driven business decisions

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following education/work-experience combinations:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed within past 3 years or expected within next 12 months) in Data Analysis, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field; OR
  • Completion of an educational or workforce development program (Associate’s, Apprenticeship, Bootcamp, or Certification) plus 1 year of related work experience; OR
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 2 years of related work experience

Required technical skills:

  • Proficiency in Python and common Python libraries for data analysis (pandas, numpy) and visualization
  • Experience with R for statistical analysis and visualization
  • Strong mathematical and statistical reasoning skills
  • Ability to work with large datasets and translate analysis into business context

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with big-data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Scala, or C++
  • Exposure to machine learning concepts and workflows
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) or modern dashboarding libraries

Workplace & Location

This role is based in Austin, TX. The position may be eligible for remote work in the United States depending on business needs and hiring manager approval. Final work location, remote eligibility, and any location-specific benefits will be determined by the confidential client.

Compensation is determined by hiring location, experience, and qualifications.
