The Data Analyst at Confidential Client is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources to generate actionable business insights. What You’ll Do
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data for reporting and analysis.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce regular performance reports.
- Identify data-quality issues and recommend improvements to data collection and management processes.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning via data-driven analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).
- Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex data simply.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise BI tools.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 — $85,000 USD (listed by our client).
- Full-time role with benefits that may include 401(k), medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
