What You’ll Do

This role supports the Data Governance Innovation team focused on interoperability, metadata, and governance across a War Data Platform. You will work with platform teams to integrate Databricks infrastructure and Unity Catalog with Foundry-based systems while contributing to governance, access controls, data quality, policy alignment, testing, and documentation.

• Support integration of Databricks and Unity Catalog with Foundry-based platforms.
• Help define and maintain metadata models and data classification standards.
• Assist with data access management and implementing role-based access controls.
• Help design, collect, and report data quality metrics and measurements.
• Execute research, testing, and documentation for governance solutions and emerging technology pilots.
• Coordinate with engineers, platform owners, and data stewards to operationalize governance policies.
• Produce clear technical and policy documentation to support auditability and reuse.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: data management, metadata management, data quality measurement, Foundry, Databricks, data classification, or data access management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and contributing to technical documentation and test plans.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with U.S. military structure and missions.
• Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog, Databricks governance tooling, or Foundry integrations.
• Prior experience supporting data governance initiatives in secure or government environments.

This role requires an active security clearance: Secret, TS, or TS/SCI.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range for this role in Virginia (VA): $65,900 — $120,000 USD. Final compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, skill set, and other qualifications. Our client also offers benefits that may include medical, retirement, paid time off, and training opportunities; details will be provided during the hiring process.
