What You’ll Do

This Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst to work with statewide equipment and fleet data to produce actionable intelligence, improve reporting, and support operational decision-making.

  • Review, validate, and analyze data maintained in the statewide Equipment Fleet Management System (Operations Management System - OMS)
  • Develop, query, and generate recurring and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Convert raw system data into clear, actionable performance metrics and insights
  • Collaborate with statewide users and program teams to refine reporting needs and improve data quality
  • Assist with development and enhancement of reporting tools and data measurements to increase program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Support occasional data transfers, exports, and integrations as required

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, analytical experience, and the ability to translate data into executive-level reports.

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft programs (Excel required)
  • Experience analyzing data and building executive-level reports
  • Comfortable using inventory or fleet management software and querying OMS-style systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Team-player who can collaborate across departments and statewide users

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree OR an Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field OR certification in an IT-related field
  • Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in IT data analysis
    • A master’s degree in computer science may substitute for one year of experience
    • Two additional years of related experience may substitute for the education requirement

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $4,749.00 - $5,876.52 Monthly (approximately $56,988 - $70,518.24 annually)

Location & Work Conditions

  • Primary location: Frankfort, KY
  • Typical work performed in an office setting; minimal travel may be required
  • Probationary period: Initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months (per applicable policies)
