What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level, short-term data analysis contract (expected 2–3 months) supporting a confidential client on an Excel reconciliation and data-cleaning project. Typical responsibilities include:

• Examine records to identify duplicate entries, inconsistencies, and data quality issues
• Use Excel formulas and analytical techniques to organize, validate, and reconcile large datasets
• Investigate irregular payment patterns and summarize findings for internal stakeholders
• Clean and update datasets to improve accuracy, consistency, and reporting reliability
• Maintain clear documentation of data issues, corrective actions, and recurring trends
• Communicate findings and recommended corrections to the project lead in a clear, concise format

What We’re Looking For

Candidates who can rapidly contribute to reconciliation and data-cleanup work:

• Proficiency in data analysis with the ability to review and interpret large datasets
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation; experience with VBA is a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend corrections
• Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting issues and reporting results
• Comfortable working under a short-term contract timeline and delivering tangible outcomes quickly

• Estimated pay (as listed): $66,580 per year (estimated; pro-rated for contract duration)
