What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst (contract) to support operational data tasks and help ensure data quality. You will work on high-volume datasets, perform data entry and validation, and assist with routine reporting.
- Perform high-volume data entry and maintain accurate records
- Clean, organize, and validate datasets to ensure data quality
- Build and maintain Excel-based reports (pivot tables, formulas, sorting/filtering)
- Follow documented processes for master-data and information-system updates
- Support ad-hoc requests and collaborate with internal teams to resolve data issues
- Track tasks and prioritize multiple requests to meet deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum requirements to be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
- 0–1 year of professional experience (internship, co-op, or academic project experience is acceptable)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data organization/validation)
- Comfortable working with large datasets and performing repetitive, high-volume data work
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and manage multiple requests
Nice-to-Have
- Prior internship or academic project experience in data management, master data, or analytics
- Familiarity with basic data-cleaning techniques and simple lookup formulas
- Basic experience with data-entry tools or ticketing systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $20.00–$22.00 per hour (W2) — final pay depends on candidate experience and client policies
- Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and other client-offered programs (confirm with recruiter)
- Contract position; length and hours to be discussed during screening
