Data Analyst
The Data Analyst at Confidential Client is responsible for transforming complex business data into strategic insights by managing data pipelines, performing exploratory analysis, and creating interactive dashboards. The role requires proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools to optimize data extraction and deliver actionable business insights while ensuring data quality and governance.

What You’ll Do
- Gather and integrate raw datasets from cloud platforms, internal databases, and external APIs to maintain continuous data flow.
- Perform exploratory analysis on large structured and unstructured datasets to identify bottlenecks, process gaps, and performance trends.
- Build, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent BI tools.
- Write, refine, and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction and dataset preparation.
- Translate quantitative findings into clear, actionable narratives and visualizations for business stakeholders.
- Validate data integrity across systems, resolve discrepancies, and enforce data governance best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, query optimization and tuning).
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and scripting (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Proven ability building executive dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, basic macro automation).
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-have
- Experience integrating data from cloud data stores and external APIs.
- Familiarity with automating ETL or reporting pipelines.
- Exposure to Looker Studio (or Looker) development and dashboard administration.
- Prior experience working within IT Services / IT Consulting environments.
