Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join their Financial Planning team in Atlanta, GA. This entry-level role focuses on building and maintaining business metrics, dashboards, and reports that enable leaders to manage performance, inform strategic decisions, and present results to senior stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key business performance metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and drivers of results.
• Support creation and monitoring of KPIs used to manage team performance and business outcomes.
• Prepare reporting and insights for leadership reviews, business updates, and strategic planning.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reporting and analytics.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable deliverables.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests and perform analyses to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes.
• Document reporting methodologies, metric definitions, and data sources.
• Contribute to a data-driven culture by delivering insights that influence business strategy and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or related roles.
• Strong analytical thinking and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills; able to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and strong ownership of deliverables.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases preferred.
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Experience using Smartsheet to manage data and track projects is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $32.58–$54.27 per hour (actual pay depends on experience, skills, and location).
