What You’ll Do

This Confidential Client is hiring a Data Analyst to support onsite business operations in Farmington Hills, MI. You will analyze large datasets, build interactive dashboards, automate operational workflows, and deliver clear, actionable insights to business and executive stakeholders. This role requires collaboration across teams to translate business needs into scalable reporting and automation solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business and client stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Gather, clean, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources using Power Query and SQL.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and executive reports to monitor KPIs and operational performance.
  • Analyze productivity, quality, CSAT, SLA compliance, and workforce metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Build scorecards, ranking models, eligibility calculations, and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Validate data, troubleshoot reporting issues, and implement monitoring to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and visualizations for leadership and stakeholders.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Onsite — Farmington Hills, MI
  • Typical hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard development, data modeling).
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, lookups, data analysis functions).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Strong presentation and data storytelling skills; able to communicate insights to business and executive audiences.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL-300) or equivalent BI credential.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) or cloud certifications.
  • Prior exposure to data warehouses, ETL processes, or modern analytics ecosystems.
  • Experience in client-facing, consulting, or stakeholder-intensive environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process-improvement opportunities and drive data-led initiatives.

This Role Is Not

  • A dashboard-only maintenance position — expect business analysis and stakeholder interaction.
  • A purely technical role with limited business engagement.
