What You’ll Do

This entry-level Data Analyst role supports client teams by preparing, analyzing, and visualizing data to inform business decisions. You will work in a hybrid model based in Houston, TX, collaborating with cross-functional teams and using modern analytics and AI-enabled tools while following responsible data practices.

  • Collect, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis.
  • Apply foundational analytical techniques to identify trends, test assumptions, and draw conclusions.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and prototype solutions.
  • Use SQL and/or scripting (Python or R) to query and manipulate data.
  • Leverage data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to create clear, actionable dashboards.
  • Work with AI-enabled tools responsibly—considering privacy, security, data quality, transparency, and necessary human oversight.
  • Support documentation, testing, validation, and continuous improvement across project life cycles.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and teammates by asking thoughtful questions and clarifying business needs.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future employer sponsorship. (Certain positions may require U.S. Citizenship or the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and comfort working with ambiguous information.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex ideas simply.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in fast-moving cross-functional teams.
  • Foundational proficiency in data analysis concepts: exploration, preparation, visualization, and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with tools/technologies such as SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and/or Python or R. Coursework, internships, research, or personal projects that demonstrate relevant exposure are valuable.
  • A curiosity to learn modern analytics platforms, AI-enabled tools, and development/engineering concepts (APIs, version control, SDLC).

Compensation & Location

  • Location: Houston, TX (hybrid working model).
  • Employment type: Full-time, entry-level (graduate).
  • Salary estimate (employer-provided): $58,000 - $95,700 per year. This is a reasonable estimate and actual pay will depend on experience, skills, and other lawful factors.
