What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is hiring a Data Analyst to partner with operations during a period of rapid growth. This hands-on role focuses on converting complex workflows into repeatable, measurable processes using data, reporting, and automation.
- Partner with operational teams to map day-to-day workflows, identify bottlenecks, and document process patterns.
- Analyze time, cost, and throughput metrics to quantify inefficiencies and estimate business impact.
- Design and implement practical automations to reduce repetitive administrative work and increase consistency.
- Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards that track performance metrics, productivity trends, and operational KPIs.
- Create data models and reconciliations that unify information from systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and other platforms.
- Support high-volume operational periods by improving handoffs, flow, and capacity planning.
- Maintain data accuracy and structure so reports and downstream tools rely on dependable information.
- Prepare data-backed recommendations and business cases to help leadership evaluate automation, tooling, and workflow redesign initiatives.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business operations, process improvement, consulting, or a closely related analytical role.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate workflows, quantify inefficiencies, and translate findings into measurable time or cost savings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication skills and experience working across multiple teams and business contexts.
Skills & Tools
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning).
- Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of process mapping, workflow optimization, and automation techniques (RPA, scripting, or workflow tools).
- Familiarity with systems integration, data modeling, and reconciling data across platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.).
- Analytical problem-solving and the ability to create clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year.
- Contract and permanent placement options may be available depending on role specifics.
