Position Overview

The Decision Support Data Analyst supports administrative healthcare teams by producing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports that drive profitable business decisions. You will turn data into actionable insights using tools such as Tableau and SQL, maintain reporting content, respond to support requests, and deliver training to end users. This role is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

Compensation

• Position pay range: $63,800 - $79,750 per year (range provided per Colorado pay transparency law)
• Opportunity for an additional discretionary bonus

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Analyze and compile new reporting from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and meaningful insight
• Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports across Accounting, Finance, Facility Operations, Revenue Cycle, Sales, Quality & Safety, and Patient Access, as assigned
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Tableau; ensure performance and usability
• Use SQL and other analytical tools to source, validate, and transform data for reporting
• Manage projects and content on the Tableau reporting site so data is understandable and up to date
• Triage and resolve internal support requests via the Halo ticketing system
• Collaborate with Decision Support Data Engineering to validate data and fix issues
• Deliver Tableau training and Q&A sessions for a large user base (280+ end users) as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis
• Expert knowledge of analytical tools and ability to source and synthesize internal and external data
• Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a proactive team player
• Comfortable navigating multiple screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment and consistently exceed expectations
• Professional communication skills and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with SQL
• Experience with Tableau (dashboard design, performance tuning, deployment)
• Experience with data warehouse management and enterprise reporting

Education

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Office-based role operating in a professional environment using standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers)
• Regular use of hands/fingers for keyboard/mouse; frequent talking and hearing

Travel

• Quarterly travel to corporate offices in Colorado Springs, with possible changes in frequency
