What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a contract Data Analyst to join a growing data team supporting a large product-data integration program following an acquisition. You will focus on maintaining accurate product master data, enabling automated matching, and ensuring system records are correct and usable.
- Map and link vendor product data to internal product records and SKUs
- Create and maintain new item records with accurate attributes and metadata
- Support automated product matching by providing consistent, high-quality mappings
- Process high volumes of product and vendor data with speed and accuracy
- Validate data mappings and fix linkage issues identified by QA or automated checks
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to meet integration deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data cleanup, lookup, and formula-driven updates
- Experience navigating and interpreting Power BI dashboards and reports
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Comfortable with repetitive, high-volume data work while maintaining consistency
- Effective communicator who can ask targeted questions to resolve ambiguous product data
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in food service, food distribution, hospitality, or CPG product data
- Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems or master data management (MDM) workflows
- Basic SQL or data-querying skills for lookups and verification
