What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and dashboarding for manufacturing operations. This is an on-site, contract-to-hire role in Carmel, IN.

• Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and reconcile data from ERP, CRM, finance, HRIS, and operations systems
• Perform analysis and data validation in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, reconciliation)
• Translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders
• Support metric definition, basic data modeling, and documentation of validation practices
• Assist with month-end reporting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc operational/financial requests
• Identify data quality issues and work with cross-functional teams to improve source data and processes

What We’re Looking For

• Typical experience: 2–5 years in reporting, analytics, BI, finance or operations analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Strong SQL query-writing skills for extraction, validation, and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation, validation, and presentation
• Experience creating dashboards/reports with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable visualization tools
• Experience working with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, finance, manufacturing, service, HRIS, or operations data)
• Understanding of relational databases, basic data modeling, metrics, and validation best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication — able to explain analytical results in plain language

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Prior experience in manufacturing or supply-chain reporting
• Familiarity with common ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or manufacturing data models
• Scripting experience (Python, R) or ETL exposure
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and BI deployment best practices
