What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Global Services team is hiring a Data Analyst on a hybrid schedule based in the Buffalo, NY area. In this role you will collect, analyze, and interpret EHS-related data to support compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across the company.

• Collect, validate, and analyze EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of risk.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to track key EHS performance indicators.
• Write and optimize queries (SQL) and use scripting (Python/R) for data preparation and automation.
• Collaborate with EHS, IT, and engineering teams to ensure data quality and maintain data ecosystems.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders to support process improvements and compliance efforts.
• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality, following policies for export-controlled and sensitive information.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams (EHS, IT, engineering).
• Must live locally to the Buffalo area (no relocation assistance).
• U.S. citizenship or lawful authorization may be required due to access to export‑controlled information.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience analyzing Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) data.
• Experience building enterprise dashboards and automated reporting pipelines.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
• Exposure to aerospace or manufacturing environments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range (Buffalo, NY): $60,000–$75,000 annually.
