Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a contract Data Analyst to support Global Partner Stores within their Global Growth organization. This is a W2 contractor role based in Boston, MA (on-site or as required by the business) to provide maternity-leave coverage for business analysis, partner reporting, and data management. Contract duration: 5+ months.
What You’ll Do
You will deliver accurate, repeatable reporting and partner performance insights that help drive commercial decisions across partner retail stores.
- Maintain, validate, reconcile, and manage recurring business data and partner store records.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Identify trends, flag data issues and risks, and communicate actionable insights simply and clearly.
- Support partner performance reviews with clean, well-documented analysis and summary materials.
- Work with cross-functional partners (Stores Excellence, commercial teams) to ensure reporting meets business requirements.
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis and data requests to support decision-making during the contract period.
Who You’ll Work With
- Report to the Senior Manager, Business Analysis & Growth.
- Partner closely with the Stores Excellence team and cross-functional stakeholders who rely on partner-store reporting and commercial insights.
Qualifications (Required)
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, retail analytics, commercial reporting, finance support, or similar analytical roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Experience with dashboards and reporting tools; familiarity with Sigma or Tableau is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to validate and reconcile recurring business data with a high attention to detail.
- Experience working with retail, wholesale, partner, e-commerce, or consumer business data preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring monthly and quarterly deliverables.
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to surface risks and explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Prior exposure to partner or wholesale retail reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining dashboards (Sigma, Tableau, or similar).
- Background supporting store-level commercial metrics and partner performance programs.
Contract Details & Compensation
- Employment type: Contractor (W2).
- Location: Boston, MA (confidential client location).
- Duration: 5+ months (maternity leave coverage).
- Pay: $50–$54 per hour (W2) — hourly range provided by the client.
