Data Analyst
The Data Analyst at Confidential Client will join the Revenue Operations and Analytics team to provide business insights through data analysis, dashboard creation, and cross-departmental collaboration. This role requires strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data visualization, combined with business acumen and knowledge of insurance or financial services. What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Data Analyst who can turn data into actionable insights that drive business and product decisions across the Insurance / Insurtech organization.
- Analyze large, cross-functional datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for stakeholders (product, operations, finance, underwriting)
- Write, optimize, and review SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data
- Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to scope analyses and measure the impact of experiments and initiatives
- Ensure data quality by auditing data sources, implementing checks, and documenting assumptions
- Communicate findings clearly through data visualizations and concise written summaries
- Support ad-hoc requests and help prioritize analytics work to maximize business value
What We’re Looking For
We value strong analytical thinkers who communicate clearly and deliver reliable, repeatable analyses.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a data analyst or similar role (analyst, business intelligence, reporting)
- Proficiency writing production-grade SQL for complex data analysis
- Experience creating dashboards and visualizations to tell a story with data
- Comfortable working with stakeholders to translate business questions into measurable analyses
- Strong attention to detail, with experience validating data and documenting methodology
- Ability to present technical results to non-technical audiences
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with a scripting language for analysis (Python or R)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and ETL/data pipeline concepts
- Background in insurance, insurtech, or financial services analytics
- Experience with product/experimentation analytics, cohort analysis, or forecasting

- This role is based in the United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship at the time of hire.
