What You’ll Do

This entry-level Data Analyst will support retail and reporting efforts by collecting, cleaning, and delivering reliable data and visualizations that enable business decisions. Working closely with senior analysts and cross-functional partners, you will provide operational reporting, maintain dashboards, and surface trends to improve performance.

• Collect and clean data from internal and external sources
• Perform basic analysis using Excel, SQL, or scripting (Python/R)
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Identify trends, anomalies, and basic statistical patterns in datasets
• Translate business requirements into report specifications with senior analysts
• Document data sources, transformations, and methodology for reproducibility
• Support ad-hoc reporting requests and data validation activities

Minimum Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, academic projects count)
• Basic proficiency in Excel and comfort writing SQL queries
• Familiarity with one or more BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Exposure to Python or R is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Commits to data privacy and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications (will give you a competitive edge)

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Internship or hands-on academic project experience working with datasets
• Basic understanding of database design, data structures, and ETL concepts
• Demonstrated experience cleaning data and creating visualizations
