What You’ll Do

We are seeking a practical, production-focused Data Analyst to join a confidential client’s engineering and analytics team. You will design and maintain data pipelines, clean and integrate diverse data sources, and deliver dashboards and models that enable faster, better decisions across the business.

  • Build deterministic ETL pipelines and production scripts using Python (3.10+).
  • Use AWS core services (S3, Lambda, boto3) to store, process, and orchestrate data.
  • Clean, transform, and integrate unstructured and semi-structured documents into analysis-ready datasets.
  • Design data models and entity linking strategies to join datasets reliably.
  • Write and optimize SQL for analysis and data validation.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and basic frontend-backend integrations (example: FastAPI).
  • Build dashboards and visualizations (Tableau) to surface KPIs and trends.
  • Work with Databricks for scalable data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, suppliers, and business stakeholders to define outcomes and deliverables.
  • Produce status reports, monitor project progress, and support intervention/problem-solving with project managers and suppliers.
  • Support access, security, and training processes for analytical systems.
  • Explore and develop AI-driven tooling and bots to accelerate trend detection and automate routine analysis.

What We’re Looking For (Required)

Candidates should demonstrate hands-on, production experience with:

  • Production-level Python (3.10+): building scripts, pipelines, validation logic, not just exploratory notebooks.
  • AWS: S3, Lambda, and familiarity with boto3.
  • Data cleaning, integration, and document processing workflows.
  • Data modeling and entity linking (designing keys/joins across datasets).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience writing performant queries.
  • Dashboarding experience, especially Tableau.
  • Databricks or equivalent distributed processing experience.
  • API development experience (FastAPI or similar) and basic frontend-backend integration understanding.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate technical designs clearly.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Frontend experience (React or similar).
  • API integration and SSO/authentication experience.
  • Stored procedure development and advanced SQL tuning.
  • Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or other ETL tooling experience.
  • Supply chain systems or sourcing process familiarity is a plus.

Location & Schedule

  • Location: Arlington, TX (on-site presence required as noted below).
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday on-site; Thursday remote; flexible scheduling available.
  • Employment type: Full-time.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven track record delivering production analytics, ETL pipelines, and business-facing dashboards.

Why Join

  • Work on high-impact analytics projects delivering measurable efficiency gains.
  • Cross-functional exposure to engineering, data science, and business operations.
  • Opportunity to build and deploy AI-assisted tools that scale team productivity.
  • Collaborative environment and flexible hybrid schedule.
