Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to join their team in Addison, TX. This role supports healthcare operations and business teams by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to inform decisions and improve patient-centered services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational and clinical data to support business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI (or similar tools).
  • Produce routine and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders across departments.
  • Clean, transform, and validate data from multiple sources; document data definitions and ETL logic.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process and operational improvements.
  • Translate business questions into actionable analyses and present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assist with basic automation and scripting tasks using Python, Excel, or available tools.
  • Participate in testing and deployment of new reports and data solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive business, employee, and patient data.
  • Perform other analytical projects and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and visualization concepts.
  • Basic proficiency with SQL (able to write and modify queries).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
  • Experience building dashboards or reports in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain findings to varied audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and ask for guidance when needed.
  • Interest in learning healthcare processes, systems, and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, academic, or project experience involving data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
  • Exposure to DAX, Python, R, or experience with scripting for analysis and automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based relational databases or data warehouses (Azure SQL, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to support analytical or coding tasks.
  • Experience working with APIs for data extraction or integration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for stakeholder presentations.
  • Interest or experience in healthcare analytics, infusion services, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare operations.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Typical office-based activities: frequent sitting, keyboarding, reading, and screen time.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Clear vision (near, distance, computer) and effective verbal/hearing communication are required.
  • The role requires handling sensitive business and patient information in accordance with privacy and security policies.
