What You’ll Do

Confidential client is hiring entry-level candidates graduating in 2027 for roles across Data Engineering, AI Engineering, and Data Asset Management. You will work on data-driven projects that influence business decisions and enable scale across product, operations, and analytics teams.

  • Support the design, build, and maintenance of cloud-based data platforms and scalable data pipelines that ingest, cleanse, transform, and publish data.
  • Contribute to proof-of-concept and experimental ML/AI work — develop, deploy, monitor, and improve models and their data workflows.
  • Help manage data assets: support data governance, metadata practices, and data quality to ensure data is reliable and discoverable.
  • Collaborate with engineers, data asset managers, architects, and business partners to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions that align with enterprise standards.
  • Write reusable, well-tested code and document solutions so teams can operate and extend them efficiently.
  • Identify process and platform improvements to increase operational efficiency, reliability, and data quality.

Role Examples (typical responsibilities)

Data Engineer

  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing flows.
  • Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Apply coding standards and engineering best practices to produce scalable services.

AI Engineer

  • Prototype and productionize model-driven solutions and ML pipelines.
  • Implement feature engineering, model monitoring, and model lifecycle practices.
  • Leverage cloud-native services for scalable model deployment.

Data Asset Manager

  • Lead data governance activities for assigned domains.
  • Own data quality, metadata, reference and master data, and data access patterns.
  • Advise business partners on data strategy and data stewardship practices.

Qualifications

  • Graduating in Spring or Summer 2027 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Analytics, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with programming or coursework in Python, SQL, R, or similar languages (ability to learn new languages quickly).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and basic data management concepts.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience or coursework building data pipelines, ETL/ELT, or distributed data processing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality best practices.
  • Demonstrated history of solving complex problems with innovative approaches.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Employment type: Full time (Entry Level).
  • Posted salary range (from source): $85,000.00 - $122,200.00 per year.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
