Position overview
This entry-level Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Associate role supports assurance and audit engagements with a focus on digital controls, IT governance, and AI-enabled audit techniques. You will join a client-facing team and help evaluate internal controls, apply auditing methodologies, and use technology to improve financial reporting and risk identification.
What You’ll Do
- Support client engagements by applying auditing methodologies and IT controls to assess financial reporting and operations.
- Assist in evaluating internal controls and documenting findings to support regulatory compliance.
- Use artificial intelligence platforms and analytics tools to streamline audit procedures and test results.
- Contribute to IT governance and control framework development that improves operational efficiency.
- Help identify and prioritize risks and recommended mitigations for client operations.
- Collaborate with engagement teams, practicing active listening to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Apply intellectual curiosity to research innovative approaches and elevate client outcomes.
- Build foundational skills in digital assurance to support accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications — What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Educational eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment, or the educational requirements for CISA licensure, before starting full-time.
- Candidates should be completing their final academic year or have recently completed degree requirements for entry-level client service associate positions.
Preferred / Good-to-Have
- Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI or analytics to create audit efficiencies.
- Familiarity with auditing methodologies, IT governance, and internal control frameworks.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and active listening skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
- Experience or coursework in risk identification, compliance, or process assurance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year. Actual pay within this range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location in accordance with applicable law.
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus.
- Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and personal/family sick leave (benefit details vary by client and location).
Travel
- Up to 20% travel may be required.
