What You’ll Do

As a Cybersecurity Specialist working on-site in Chandler, AZ, you will help protect the Confidential Client’s systems and data by monitoring security systems, investigating alerts and incidents, and supporting vulnerability remediation and compliance activities.

• Continuously monitor network traffic, system logs, endpoint detection alerts and SIEM events to identify potential threats and anomalies.
• Triage and investigate security alerts and incidents; perform initial containment, remediation steps and escalate to senior security engineers as needed.
• Review vulnerability assessment results and support remediation tracking with IT and product teams.
• Create, manage and close security tickets following internal processes; document investigations and contribute findings for management and compliance reporting.
• Support and tune security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls) and recommend improvements to standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT, product and operations teams on risk mitigation, secure configurations and change control related to security findings.
• Participate in security briefings, audits and tabletop exercises; contribute to continuous improvement of incident response playbooks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4+ years combined education/experience).
• Familiarity with security technologies and tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls and vulnerability scanners.
• Basic incident response and threat analysis experience; ability to follow playbooks and escalate appropriately.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail when reviewing logs and evidence.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Entry-level cybersecurity certification preferred (Security+, CEH, or similar) is a plus.
• Comfortable working on-site full time at the Chandler, AZ office.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $120,000 - $127,500 per year.

• Primarily sedentary work at a computer with frequent use of keyboard and mouse.
• Occasional walking throughout the office for meetings and collaboration.
• Visual acuity to read and analyze data on screens and in print.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines, make informed decisions about escalation, and handle stress professionally.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to document findings clearly and train or brief staff when required.

Work Location & Schedule

• On-site, 5 days per week, at the Confidential Client’s Chandler, AZ office during normal business hours.
