Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to support administrative and compliance activities for classified information systems. This onsite role in Tucson, AZ, is a strong opportunity for candidates beginning a career in cybersecurity, information assurance, or compliance who want exposure to DoD policies and clearance-driven environments.

What You’ll Do

• Support front-line user support, user access management workflows, and system change requests.
• Maintain records, assist with training and awareness efforts, and help deliver information systems security education.
• Gather metrics, perform data entry, and track program and user requests to support system compliance.
• Support configuration management (software/hardware) and information system lifecycle management through administrative tasks.
• Collaborate routinely with cross-functional teams, Cybersecurity Managers, ISSMs, and ISSOs to ensure adherence to DoD regulatory policies and frameworks.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, IT, Criminal Justice, Business, Math or a related field (other degrees considered).
• Experience working with or supporting computer technologies (databases, operating systems, network hardware, software programs, hardware troubleshooting/manufacture, or electronics).
• Experience with compliance-based auditing or knowledge of regulatory frameworks (military/DoD or non-defense such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA).
• Background in physical security, law enforcement, investigations, or similar disciplines is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills and experience interpreting and documenting metrics; experience in project/program/office management or account management helpful.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for required security clearances).

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job work, coursework, research, or relevant projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Ability to identify process gaps and implement continuous improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially documenting evaluation results.
• Customer-focused, adaptable, and able to work varied assignments.
• Experience with training programs, records management, or compliance administration.
• Experience working in DoD classified operating or laboratory environments.
• IAM Level I certification (Security+, or equivalent) or working toward certification.
• Familiarity with NISPOM/DAAPM, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs and associated NIST publications.
• Completion of National Industrial Security Program cybersecurity training courses preferred.

Location & Clearance

• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required prior to start. U.S. citizenship required.

Compensation

• Salary range (good-faith estimate): $57,200 — $108,800 USD per year. Actual offers consider role level, experience, location, education/training, and skills.
• Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits and participation in annual incentive programs where applicable.

Additional Details

• This role supports compliance with DoD policies and frameworks such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment & Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), JSIG, and NISPOM Chapter 8.
