Overview

Confidential Client (IT) is hiring an entry-level Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst (Analyst, Cyber Vulnerability Assessment Professional) to support classified information systems in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role focuses on administrative and compliance activities that support DoD regulatory policies (RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, etc.). Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required prior to start.

What You’ll Do

• Support front-line user assistance, user access management workflows, and system change request processing
• Maintain records, manage program/user requests, and assist with configuration management and IS lifecycle tasks
• Help deliver information systems security education, training, and awareness materials
• Collect metrics, perform data entry, and document compliance activities for Cybersecurity Managers / ISSMs / ISSOs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and program personnel to support Cyber Operations

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, IT, Criminal Justice, Business, Math, or related field — or equivalent experience via coursework, projects, or on-the-job experience
• Experience supporting computer technologies (databases, OS, network hardware, software, hardware troubleshooting, or electronics)
• Background in compliance-based auditing (Military/DoD or non-defense frameworks such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA)
• Experience with data entry, metrics interpretation, program/project support, or office/administrative management
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start
• U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance)

Qualifications We Prefer

• Ability to identify process gaps and implement improvements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to documenting findings and results
• Customer-focused, adaptable, and willing to handle varying assignments
• Experience with training, records, or compliance management systems
• Experience working in DoD classified operating or laboratory environments
• IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent)
• Familiarity with NISPOM/DAAPM, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs, and relevant NIST publications
• Completion of National Industrial Security Program cybersecurity training (e.g., CDSE courses)

Location & Work Type

• Onsite — primarily working at the Tucson, AZ location (1151 E Hermans Rd, BLDG M05)
• Candidates should expect that select interview steps may be conducted in-person at a company office, regardless of role designation

Security Clearance

• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required prior to start
• Required clearance type: DoD Secret (ability to obtain interim clearance as needed)
• U.S. citizenship required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 USD per year (good-faith estimate representing all experience levels)
• Benefits (may include, depending on business unit and eligibility): medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays
